ExpoSolar Colombia 2020
renewable energy for everyone
ExpoSolar Colombia 2020 is a fair of solar thermal and photovoltaic energy, led lighting, energy efficiency and electric mobility, which sees in this nascent sector a great dynamic axis of the economy and sustainable development of Colombia.
It is conceived as a national and international fair and its purpose is to bring together the academy, businessmen, distributors, government, project promoters and the general public.

Google Maps allows you to calculate solar potential in cities
Environmental Insights Explorer is the new tool that Google leaves in the hands of citizens so they can analyze the potential of solar energy in their region. Can you imagine being able to evaluate the potential of a city for solar energy from the area available on the roofs of its buildings? "The necessary images we already have, what is needed is to calculate the area per roof in order to know the potential that this city has for solar energy," said Rebecca Moore, Engineering Director of Google Earth, Earth Engine and Earth Outreach, during the presentation of the company's new tool called Environmental Insights Explorer (EIE).
Solar energy arrives at the airport el dorado
The El Dorado airport will next year enter the list of airports in the region that have solar energy to carry out their operations, in the first half of 2019, the air terminal will install 10,369 solar panels that will generate the energy consumed by 1,500 homes for one year or 3,800,000 kWh. The project will avoid the emission of 1,375 tons of CO2.
The announcement was made during a conversation chaired by the Minister of Mines and Energy, María Fernanda Suárez, and the Minister of Transportation, Ángela María Orozco, in the company of Ricardo Sierra, president of Celsia; Mauricio Ossa, president of Odinsa; and Álvaro González, manager of Opain.
Celsia and Odinsa, since 2016, have been working together on this plan, which is part of the best sustainability practices in the sector: energy efficiency and environmental impact.
Tesla Roadster 2020: can be seen as a static prototype in Switzerland
The Tesla Roadster was the first electric vehicle of the Californian manufacturer and, at the same time, the thread of some beginnings that were not easy at all. Lot has changed things for Tesla since the launch of this model in October 2007. Designed on the basis of the Lotus Elise, the first Roadster laid the foundation for electrical mechanics that has emerged with the Model S, the Model X and the Future Model 3. For all these reasons, the Tesla Roadster will have a worthy successor, in all senses.
Although it is true that Elon Musk confirmed a new Tesla Roadster, no one imagined that he would use the presentation of his electric truck to give the surprise. The new Roadster II will be bigger and more powerful, in addition to promising an acceleration from 0 to 100 in 1.9 seconds. It should be remembered that the Tesla Roadster production ended in 2011 and ...
